The Cape Cod Commission kicked off its five year update of the Cape’s Regional Policy Plan (RPP) with three regional hearings Dec. 9-11 and is actively seeking stakeholders to help guide RPP revisions.
The Commission Act requires preparation and implementation of a regional land use policy plan that establishes a coherent set of goals, policies, and standards to guide planning and development on Cape Cod. It must include a growth policy, a policy for coordinating regional and local planning efforts, and regional goals for:
- Fair, affordable housing
- Job creation
- Waste disposal
- Open space
- Coastal resources
- Capital facilities
- Economic development
- Historic preservation
- Any other goals deemed appropriate/important by CCC
To become a stakeholder in this process, which anticipates a series of regional meetings from January through June, use the survey link below to sign up.
